Type 9 Bell Housing

Hi All

Can some please advise me whether a Type 9 5 speed - 2.9 v6 bellhousing is the same as a MT75 - 2.9 V6 bellhousing?

Thanks in advance

Dave

Both will bolt to the engine the same, but the mt75 is cast integral with the box and cant be removed like the type 9.

I got a type 9 out of a 2.8 v6.

It was all alloy, quite rare i belive as most are cast iron.

All the type 9 v6 4x4 bellhousings are alloy.

As reference you can also swap over the front bellhousing casings on mt75 boxes. example v6 front section bolted onto 2wd rear etc.

Cheers
