wich solution??
hello,
i need to mount a sensor (fan switch)
in an piece of tube..
the sensor has M22 but thread 1,5mm pitch..
any one ideas??
where can i buy that nut? to weld it on an piece of 25mm tube?

Can you not get a tap that will give you that thread?
Alternatively, I think Car Builder Solutions do an in-line adapter already made.

They are extortionate - I agree.
Could try your local hydraulic place, or a truck (lorry) workshop - I'm sure they'll keep some larger nuts...
(local bus depot?)
Also keep an eye on ebay for taps...there's an M22 x 1mm on there now for £3. May be worth looking out for an M22x1.5 or asking a few of the
sellers if they have such a thing in stock
