GSXR throttle bodies
Last week I bought a set of GSXR 1000 throttle bodies on ebay for my XE. (They cost only about 35 pound).
I have searched this forum quit some time, but I still don't know if the GSXR injectors flow enough for my XE. The throttle bodies are from
2001, so they should have injectors which flow a little bit better (how much do these flow?).
And what if I wan't to use the injectors of the XE, how do I fit these to the gixxer bodies? They have a complete other diamter than the GSXR
injectors.

compare HP
the best bet is to compare hp
you could also rise the fuel pressure
but offcourse things should be within control with your mcu
TKs

How are you mounting the bodies to the engine??? I used a std XE inlet manifold, cut down to stubs about 40mm long and milled flat. Then ovalised
alloy tube was welded to each stub and profiled to match the bike bodies at the other end.
I then plugged the std injector holes in the bike bodies and forgot about them, and just used the std XE injectors in the std holes in the std XE
inlet manifold "stubs", this then keeps the injectors located so that they spray onto the inlet valves as std.

I think GSXR1000 injectyors are good for over 200 bhp.

I don't know yet how I am going to make the manifold. But what will be the best distance between the engine and the throttle bodies? I want the
engine to be strong in all revs.
