Zetec to MT75
I have my 1.8 Zetec, I WILL make it fit to my MT75....but just need some help. To make things clear i'll do the "back bone connected to
the..hip bone" method.
1.8 Zetec connects to 1.8 Zetec standard flywheel
Flywheel connects to the Sierra DOHC clutch disc
Clutch disc inbetween flywheel and the standard 1.8 Zetec clutch plate
Next fits the thrust bearing about 20mm larger than a normal one.
Ok. The problems are; Everyone has told me to use a 1.8 Zetec clutch. It wont fit onto the splines (too small, but the actual disc is same overall
size), but my old DOHC sierra one does. Shall i go and get a new one of those or use another type similar to the DOHC.
Which thrust bearing? Some said westfield, and i've had other ideas. What works? I'd suppose it's ok as long as its an extra 20mm in
depth and it fits onto the splines, its ok?

Give Dunnel a call, they supply a clutch for zetec to MT75 using a unmodded Sierra DOHC release bearing. They are a huge source of knowledge re
zetecs.

Sorry mate, 01449 677726. They are big into zetec tuning/parts/engine management. Not budget but they do some good stuff, and as said know loads on
the subject.
