does anyone know if dcoe40 types 34/35
can be fitted to pinto two litre injected head.apparently these originally came from Holbay engine (rootes group?)

Don't see why not. You 'll need a new manifold,
The jetting will probably be all wrong, The choke sizes may be out - and thinking about it 45's are a better bet....

But you could fit them

ps actually if I was doing it again I would go for bike carbs.

Yes twin 40s are fitted to my Engine. You will need a suitable manifold. I bought mine off e-bay.
