rear diff ratio

you guys are probably fed up of answering this question but.....i am struggling to get an exact answer on what diff ratio i need to go for in a dax rush with a zx12r engine fitted,any advice appreciated

Just seen this post... a 3.14 would be beneficial. You can light the rears up very easily upto 80mph in 3rd ( Oh yes!) with a 3.62 First is FRIGHTENING quick... without full throttle! Not that is important but relevant is - you would get more mpg. Our's does about 24mpg at best - on a track who knows... As the lower one's are like "rocking horse manure", I'd get the lowest ratio one you can lay your hands on at a good price. Unless you have squillions of pounds, in which case a Quaife will do quite nicely!

No we haven't although most commentators recommend it. We have a shortened and modified sump with integral baffles, valves and piping. It was taken from an engine which had been used for track so we are not concerned about starvation as it is proven. Beware though, the sump vary slightly from year to year.

If you need more information the kit was originally from Z Cars
