LSD
Hello,
I have at the moment the driveshafts, diff, discs etc from a sierra ghia 2.0, a couple of questions if I may:-
I want to change to a LSD, will the current drive shafts fit an LSD from either a Sierra or Granada.
The diff I have at the moment has the markings:-
35-GG-4033-BA
And on a tag (what I can barely make out) attached to the diff:-
GG JB 392
0A29 1412
Thanks
Darren

LSD driveshafts are the bolt-on type Lobro shafts so if yours are bolt-on then no problems. You want the LSD out of a Sierra as the Granada one is
larger.

I think from the tag that you have a 3.92 diff there.
Most of the LSD's seem to be 3.62 which will give poorer acceleration. You could look for a 3.92 LSD from a 2.0 4x4 sierra or if you end up with
a 3.62 then do a transplant to get LSD and better acceleration.

This will be attached to an SD1 box and RV8, will a 3.62 diff make much difference with this engine.

I think the 3.62 will be a better bet with that engine.
