Zetec inlet manifold
Quick yes/no question!
Anyone know if a 1600 CVH manifold (inlet) will fit any of the Zetecs? Don't want to run injection and I've got a nice twin choke Weber with
uprated jets and induction kit in the garage courtesy of my XR2.0 (before it had the .0 bit!)

Cheers Bob - I'm going to get a Zetec anyway (I think) so I guess I will find out then. Just wanted a bit more persuasion that I should go Zetec!
Anyone know?

Don't mean to but in, but have a look at:
http://www.racecar.co.uk/partsboardmain.htm
In the parts for sale section there's an 1800 zetec for £150.
Just thought you might fancy it.

I know that was true of the CVH. Didn't know it was the same for the Zetec?

Do not even be tempted by the 1.6 Zetec as it only has 90 bhp and is vary rough due to squeezing the valves into such a small area, the 1.6 cvh from
an xr3 has more power. The 1.8 is the best as it was the unit ford designed the whole zetec range around and so it happens to be the smoothest. It has
115bhp standard but if you got the throttle body and ECU from a Mk5 Escort XR3i then the power can be boosted to 130bhp. Alternatively try a 1.7
Zetec SE which is know relation to the Zetec as it is built by yamaha, is all alloy and has variable valve timing. Also revs to 8000rpm from standard,
yum, yum!!!!!!
