Solid state pump noisy
Is anyone esle using a pacet solid state pump?
If so is it noisy in use?
Mine makes a right racket!!

Mines noisy (clicking sound), but only when the engines off. Can't hear it otherwise

sorry to half hijack the thread, but quick question, whats the difference between the interuper pumps, and the solid state one?

Mine is only *really* noisy when dry. As soon as fuel gets into it it quietens down significantly. Still quite loud, though....

Mine makes a racket too, even mounted on rubber, hoping it will reduce when the car is finished as it will be enclosed.
Wonder if reducing the voltage when at quater throttle will reduce the noise (prob won`t be a good idea)

They are noisy, but if you can hear it over your engine, I'll be suprised ( ).
