Jag manual gearbox drain plug
Does anyone know where the drain plug is for the xj40 manual gearbox?
I have the haynes manual but it only covers the auto.
I cant get under the car as im waiting for my new jack (should come today)
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Not many gearboxes have drain plugs nowadays only filler/level plugs as there is not a change of oil specified for them. The oil usually drains out of
the end when you tilt them with the prop removed . Plug the hole in the end if it's a push in prop and the oil should stay in.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
