camshaft id ( again!!)

the cam is out of my 1300 crossflow. i ve read all the previous posts i can find re identifying it as a gt spec / normal spec and still can't id it!!! the id no is 711-6250 but where the letters CA or CC should be somebody has ground them off!!! also the paint aint much use cos the only colour i can find, ( between 3 and 4) is orange, which doesnt seem to correspond with anything!! i intend racing the car in the locost championship so need to have the correct cam. Another post mentioned the max valve lift is 9mm. i measured mine prior to removing the cam and got 8.75mm which would seem about right. is there any other way of me id'ing my cam without buying a new one, as im already way over budget and extremely skint at the mo?? ive measured the total lobe width which is 33mm ( i think, was really pissed off last night so may need to check this again!!) cant check the height for each lobe as the casting varies slightly for each lobe) anyone have a gt spec cam and can measure there lobe widths to see if they correspond?? or can give me any other clues as to how to id my cam? all help appreciated. pumpers.
