Emission Testing Experience
Here in NZ our equiv of the MOT, WoF (Warrent of Fitness) to date has only concentrated on "safety".
From 2006 they are bringing in emission testing as well.
I have XFlow 1600 with twin barrell down drought weber.
Would appreciate any hints / tips etc for setting up to pass emission tests.
Thanks

What % CO are they going to test to?
usually getting you ignition system spot on and wind the mixture right down so it will just idle smoothly will do it. I could get my Bertone X19 down
to 0.2% by doing this, HC's were abot 50 (1200 limit). Hell - who needs a cat!!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Haven't seen tech paper on it from LTSA yet so don't now what % CO etc. Just all the publicity stuff from the Green Party for pushing it
through with Labour. A lot could change between now and 2006, like how to stop boy racers by saying there exhauts are too lound and impounding the
cars. Sorry getting carried away here.
Mind you the crap fuel they sell down here it could be hard, unless they are going to get the oil companys to improve the grade off fuel sold here.
The Diesel here is way over what is sold in Europe on sulpher for example.
Tried to up the compression on my XFlow but no way even with Super (96 Octane so thay say). Too expensive to keep pouring addative in.
Ah well, thanks for the comment
