Dumb Carbs Question
Time for another stupid question on my part:
I'm planning on fitting Weber 40's to my 2.0 Pinto.
Do these all come with manual chokes or is it possible to get an automatic one? I realise the benefit of the manual is that it'll give me a hook on
which to had my handbag but personally I'd prefer automatic.
If you can get automatic ones I presume it has a temperature sensor- onto what do you attach this?
Realise I'm showing my ignorance but nothing new there...
Thanks,
James

Seconded - all the sets I've had have been manual. Personally, I found that if you pull the choke out it just floods the engine. In fact, I'm
pretty sure the choke cable isn't even hooked up on my Fiesta anymore. Never needed it to get the engine running anyway

All the people i know with twin 40s never use the choke, they say there is no need.
