Gravity fed carbs

I have been informed that my daytona carbs are gravity fed, what happens if you use a R1 fuel pump to feed them. I dont have a regulator fitted.

As long as its a carb R1 pump NOT an injected pump, you'll be ok. These pumps only deliver 3 or so PSI, you might find the carbs have a bigger bore feed pipe than pumped carbs.

Either gravity feed them with the correct pipe diameter or use what you have and fit a regulator for not much squids so you can fine tune the fuel delivery.
It really is fundamental, the carbs need the design fuel delivery pressure and volume or they will not work properly.
