According to the Zetecinside website, 7000 on standard bolts! and only 400 more with ARP fitted.
ATB Dan.
The less I worked, the more i liked it.

Hi
On the zetec fitted into one car we ran that had a DUNNELL rented engine in it. The rev limit had been set at 7500 using arp bolts and STD 130ps
cams.
On our race engines ( STD blueprinted) we run them all the way too 8000 using ARP bolts and std 130ps cams. But it would be advisable not to venture
over 7700 unless willing to take the risk it MIGHT come apart. You will need change a few parts for uprated items if moving up to higher spec cams (
even some of the hydraulic profiles ) as they can produce good power all the way to 8200.

Mine's used for racing and it's set at 7300 on standard bolts. Peak power is at 7100, it's a standard 130ps on carbs with a mild cam
as the only upgrade.

Hi Custardtart. You are on ARP bolts. get that rev limit sorted and give it a bit more.
Although not as much as Steve at mallory.

Does the under piston cooling of the 130 bhp unit affects its ability to rev or is the only limit the strength of the bottom end? I am guessing that
the cooling only affects the power it puts out and not the red line but thought I'd check..........
(Mine is the 105 unit with the 130 bhp cams so doesnt have the under piston cooling)
