Can I use fuel/oil hose for water?

Hi, Basically as the topic suggests can i use oil/fuel hose for the water system as i can not find 6mm water hose anywhere as its off an R1 so has very small hose.

Thats exactly what I did for my bike engine...

Cant see it being much of an issue given that fuel hose is chemical resistant and can withstand that sort of pressure...

Just dont try and do it the other way round

Thanks for the speedy reply, was thinking also if anything it would be better as surely oil will be around same temp, always good to double check though.
Cheers

I had thought about that but if i bought that its going to be 5-6 times more expensive and id want to change the rest of the hoses. Might change them to all black silicon sometime in the future once its running and the wallets recovered

I've run 8mm fuel hose to / from the header tank without a problem. Not sure what Mr SVA thought about it but he didn't seem particularly bothered by it!!!

Good to hear Ben, hope it will get through as i think they are only really concerned with the fuel hose (ours are all marked as)

Tell you what a bit of fuel hose from the header tank will look more proffessional than garden hose or clear hose... Shouldn't be a prob.
