carb problems

can u fit a set of motor bike carbs to a 3.0 v6 ford engine???

motorbike carbs will come from a four cylinder engine. a V6 has, erm, well 6 cylinders.

you do the math

rv8 as 8 clys, 2 carbs
ford v6 as 6 clys 1 carb.....could go on

bit o work but 3 banks of 3, ditch one maybe? or all 4 into one chamber ?

some on here have fitted bike carbs to 4cly car engines they well tell you how well they worked,

years ago it was common to run 2x45's on 2 port mini heads only using one barrel from each, theory was to get a straight run into ports, things have moved on a bit since then, but using 3 of the 4 chokes from bike carbs would look the bizz either side a v6 motor, just a few ideas that may or may not work.

better idea, fit the bike carbs with a bike engine under em n ditch the V6

Whats the advantage of using bike carbs over car carbs, if any?
