Could the engine/gearbox not move back a lot? I've got a straight six in my indy okay space wise. If the turbo is a tight fit with the standard
manifold then build a custom one ^_^

The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make
it moral.

The Trionic5 setup (sans VSS) will run standalone and with the software is pretty much mappable however you want. Why is it no good?

Then this might be a good option. Nothing like a 400 hp v8 busa engine, throw on some
forced induction and you're looking at huge power for very light weight. The base motor is only $28,500 USD
Here's a pic for you all to lust after...
H1 V8 Busa
Over 1000hp possible with forced induction
Over 1000hp possible!!

Actually check out the Hartley H2 made by the same company. Kit that converts Busa internals and head to a billet block. Eliminates the built in
gearbox, adds a dry sump and allows you to bolt up to any transmission. Add a Turbo and you have 250-300 hp in a very light and compact package.
it starts at $8500 US,
Still not cheap but fantastic option for a Seven
