I was watching CHAMP car racing last night on Sky... apparently those cars do 1.7 miles to a US gallon, or roughly 2 UK mpg.

Now THAT'S high fuel consumption!

Building: Almost book Locost 1700 X-Flow

Hi all, I've got a 1700 x flow, rejetted 32/36 carb, piper 270 high torque cam, standard vacuum advance dizzy and ported head.
Even driven fairly quickly, I'm getting 30+ to the gallon and my bhp is in 3 figures.
Can't fault it!!
