Type 9 Conversion to 4AGE
Could someone please tell me what is required to use a Ford Type 9 gearbox on a Toyota 4AGE engine?
I know there is a modified bellhousing available, but does the input shaft match? if not how do i get around that problem?
Also do i need to change the clutch and everything else that is associated with it?

Ablertz,
check raw engineering's website.
They specialise in the 4AGE engine and can supply all the bits required for a type 9 conversion.
Cheers

I got my bits from Raw Engineering. Bell housing, bolt set, spigot bearing, clutch kit to mate ford gear box input shaft and Toyota flywheel and
thrust bearing. I also got their engine mounts and rubbers at the same time. It's not cheap but Hicost helped me to pressurise Mel at Raw to do
me a cash deal at Stoneleigh. Mel is a helpful bloke he also gave me a late model plenum that I was able to cut down and get tigged and a couple of
engine gaskets I was having trouble getting hold of.
7 out of 10 people suffer with hemorrhoids. Does that mean the other 3 enjoy them?
