Engine assembly lube
Anyone know which is the best assembly fluid?(que jokes), as engine maybe standing for quite some time before start up.

I've used STP oil treatment in the past, looks like oil but thicker. Never had any problems with it, sticks like glue to plain metal surfaces...

Or you could use something similar to Slick 50 called PTFE 4 oil made by a company called Add-it from Doncaster, as good as Slick 50 but less than
half the price that way it is protected while standing and running.

So crap then ?
PTFE is a solid, not designed to be mixed with oil and used to lubricate an engine.
Slick50 = snake oil

was told once by an engine builder to use somethin but cant remember for sure but i think it was two strke oil i no the marine stuff can be pretty
thick and a real pig to get off 2 so it might be that????
any1 heard similar
