Senders for a VX

Its soon going to be time to buy some gauges for the car.

Does anyone know what thread size and pitch I require for water temp, oil temp and oil pressure? And do I need some sort of T piece or something to fit oil temp and pressure?

Cheers

Depends on the gauges i guess... can you use the original senders? Water temp, oil pressure are available standard and fit straight in. Oil temp is not standard fitment from what i remember. Most people drill and tap it into an oil way or sump. Sorry i dont know about the threads and stuff. If you got the old senders you can use a thread gauge

Isn't the standard oil pressure sender an On/Off type of thing, just for a warning light? I wanted a guage as well.

AStra GTE had oil pressure gauge too... so they had the twin sender, instead of just the light

Cheers Ben,

Do you know what the output range is for the GTE sender and if its compatable with after market gauges?
