Bike throttle bodies Dims?
Im already looking at replacing my dhla 45's with bike throttle bodies but i was wondering if there are any sets of bike throttle bodies that
have close dims to the dhla's?
I see that quite a few of the sets that appear on e-gay are 2 pairs and Ive looked at the gsxr single bodies that would need re spacing but was just
wondering if there was anything close to the dhla's mounting dims.
I would like to keep my inlet manifold and fit the bike bodies to it.
I know im asking alot but can anybody help.
Tommy
Is it bad that im already planning upgrades as the car is not even on the road yet

I doubt its really practical to try and adapt the DCOE manifold to accept bike TB's - the attachment method is very very different. I'd
sell the manifold and carbs as a package myself and leave yourself a blank sheet for fitting the TB's with as little work as possible (having
just respaced a full set of GSXR carbs)

If you have the time the skill and the tools its not hard to fit the gixer Tb's to a dcoe manifold.
Ive made a start, see a few pics in my archive.

Flak Monkey has already done it if you take a peak at his pics.

To add if the Dhla are the same as the dcoe then some of the gixer Tb's will bolt direct to a dcoe manifold with the standard rubbers.
Do a search on here.

£20 if mis advertised on ebay upto £200 If you can seperate them then they will fetch more money.
Also look at early zx12R If you want BIG bodies.

If your after BIG bodies TL1000 V twin have 2 55mm bodies tapering down to 46mm at the inlet. All separate and HUGE
I also have set of CBR1000RR bodies that are 43mm.

Sadly, I've no idea where the link is.
But I remember reading on a forum that Hyabusa TBs were the correct spacing for an XE.
