kent v piper vernier pulley

Hi has anyone experience of pier v kent vernier pulleys is there any difference the price of the kent is £20 less want to buy the best if there's a difference cheers Keith

ebay put in piper vernier pulley or kent vernier pulley they're both on there(don't know how to do links sorry) keith

I have a Kent vernier pulley and a piper cam
I have not had any problems with the pulley so if i were you i would go with the cheapest

Its not a vernier pulley.... thats just a toothed water pump/alternator drive belt kit. Really not needed... Sorry were you trying to drum up some interest in your earlier post?

Vernier pulleys are for the camshaft...

The difference between the kent and piper ones is that the piper ones are ali whereas the ken ones are steel if i remember rightly.

In reality it makes little difference.

all the piper ones seem to be alloy for the likes of a pinto, but kent have an alloy or a cheaper steel one

I've got a cheaper steel kent one for my pinto, even though I've got a piper cam
