Colour tune?

Is it possible to use on a red top 16V as its a long way down to the plugs?

IICR, it comes with something to make it longer...
used it to tune a lancia TC with dcoe 45, but i finally had to find a dyno to do the job properly

Sorry, its a bit off topic but what does IIRC mean? I've seen it a few times and don't have a clue what it means? Sorry for jacking your thread

It's not ideal, tbh, but just about.

It's fiddly - I had to hold the plug lead onto the extension supplied with the kit. Otherwise, although it fits, if you don't move the lead to one side of the plug-hole, you can't see down into the window. That's daunting in itself though - you're supposed to use the mirror. And with bits of metal hurling round at 500-1000 rpm underneath it...

On the plus side, at least I could see that my carbs were a bit lean.

Francis.

You'll get it close with a colortune for sure. They come with an extension tube and a mirror for tricky installations.

I know people knock it but I reckon it's mostly people who haven't used one. For me the proof is in the pudding. Took my engine to a dyno @ TTS afterwards and they said it was 95% there. Indeed, they made the mixture slightly richer for better power and now it's running too rich most of the time IE it was blooming spot on with the colortune!!!
