Carb help please DHLA fuel leak

I need some help with my Dellorto DHLA 45s.
I am having a problem with one of my carbs, i have an inline fuel pressure regulator set at 2psi and on one of the banks of carbs i am getting fuel leaking into the barrel from the main jets.
And i am talking alot of fuel .
I had this problem when i was running the fuel pump with no regulator fitted so i just thought that was the problem but it is not.

Does anybody know what could be the cause of this? Float level to high?
I dont know to much about them but i dont mind taking them apart as long as i know what i need to be looking for.

(1) Clean out the float valve
(2) Float heght setting.
(3) Check the jets are screwed home properly

If that dosen't work check the pressure regulator. is regulating --- all it takes is a little bit of dirt trapped in it and you will get full pump pressure.

explains setting the float height pretty well.
BUT my guess is dirt in the needle valve, probably be fine if cleaned out. Could be overpressure from the regulator, but the valves are more likely.
