Only firing on #4
Had the Indy running 2 weeks ago and came to start up again yesterday for it's first drive down our track and it would'nt start. Checked
everything through, got spark at each plug, petrol supply etc, but it only fires on number 4 as this is the only exhaust pipe that gets hot.. any idea
welcome
Cheers

Has it worked previously? Has someone swapped around the spark plug leads?

Can you post more info on what carburation and ignition systems you are using - might help in giving you a few areas to check

helped three different people in three months start up there pintos after being left for a small while, each time there were sparks at all plugs and
fuel gettin in.
However every case was sorted with just a new set of plugs...ask omega aka alex

I would go along with that when I had a Pinto in my Cat if left for more than a couple of weeks the plugs would need cleaning at least and if much
longer would need to be replaced.
