Good Biking Forum anyone?
Hi,
I am looking for a good biking forum. A bit like this one but biking on a budget as opposed to cars. Can anyone recommend one?
I realise that this is a strange thread to put on this forum but there seem to be a few bikers on here from time to time......
Cheers
Chris

there are a couple I frequent
www.ukbikeforum.co.uk (big forum and many members)
www.bike-cafe.org.uk (small forum and more a group of friends that use it but still welcome to anyone who is interested in bikes and wants to join in
with the banter. useful info on there too and quite a few knowledgeable people)

sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"

visordown is alright if your desperate.
Your best bet is to choose a model of bike and google to find a forum.
Bike specific forums are by far the best resource, techincal help is very good too.
one you could try if suzuki's are your thing is
oldskoolsuzuki.info
EXCELLENT technical knowledge, and some awesome projects. Some of the bikes are cheapeies too - but be aware that some of the turboed gsxr1100's
are worth more than a run down terrace house.

as above, most bikes have dedicated forums. Quite handy as I find on general ones, most of the posts are hijacked by idiots on a quest to criticize
models they don't happen it like and it all quickly breaks down into a slagging match
Fame is when your old car is plastered all over the internet

Do you buy Classic Motorcycle Mechanics? A bit "them were the good old days!", but lots of very good technical articles on 70s metal.
Unfortunately they don't run a forum. Check the list of back issues and you may well find they've covered your bike.
I'm sure there must be a 70s Honda forum, if not one for your specific bike. If it's a CB (or a CBX, given your comment about biting off
more than you can chew... ) surely there is something out there?
I agree with the previous comment that you just have to hope there's a good model specific forum. It's a bit pot luck. Could never find
a decent UK forum when I owned a KTM (chavs and dirtbike racers...), but the forums for my TRX850 are brilliant and great for technical help, pretty
much like LCB.

Anyone especially into 70's Hondas?
Getting worried that I may have bitten off more than I can chew
