Pinto to Zetec Adaptor plate
I am planning to use my 32/36DGAV carb from my pinto for my Zetec project. I have seen the home made inlet manifolds that are used for banger racing,
and to me they don’t look great.
So I am going to try the adaptor plate method.
So, does anyone know if anyone makes such a thing off the shelf, or else failing that I am a CAD operator by trade, so have no problem creating a 3D
solid model if any ones knows somewhere where I can get a one off made.
Cheers,
B

Faraday enginering but they are very dear. You also have a bit of work to get the 32/36 onto the manifold.

Wrong spelling lol Its.
Ferriday
The plates are around £100 and like I say there is a lot of work to fit the 32/36 to the cvh manifold plus the price of the manifold.
There is one of the banger manifolds that look not to bad for the money.
Just make sure it has oval ports that match the head.
You can buy a steel plate from Short track For around £20 and make one from scrap.
One I made earlier

I started making one from a pinto manifold, and a 12mm Ally plate, the pinto manifold is angled and spaced differently....
One day I might even finish it:

Yeh I started another when I sold that one and since sold it. I have another to do when I find a carb. I have the ignition all made up ready.
