Recommended supplier for alloy bits

This post is to thank Dene (Deneo) on here

I've just received my cut and shut Zetec sump from him and it's exactly what I wanted.

His work is excellent and around half the price others charge. We've had 2 fuel tanks from him too and the quality is top notch.

He's a man of few words and doesn't post much but he's been on here for years.

He'll make one-offs and I've seen him offer to make a water rail for a Zetec

His header tanks are a third of what I saw them for sale for at Newark.

I know other have had bits made for them by Dene and I'm sure they'd vouch for the quality of his work

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

TBH I'm not sure 'cos we did a deal where I sent him 2 sumps (I had a spare) and some cash, then 1 for me and 1 for him

did you also have the side modified where the starter goes, as this needs a section cutting out and recessing for the starter to clear the sump

Ah crap, didn't realise that. We're using a CVH sump at the mo'.

Will it need welding (which I can't do), or is it just a case of grinding some off (which I can) ?

Don't suppose you have a link to any pictures showing what needs doing ?

Cheers..

Edited to add; I've found a picture which shows the starter indent here.

And ours after another £30 worth of welding.
I would have sent it back to Dene to finish, but after taking postage into consideration, and the time frame, we took it to a local fabrication firm.
