I need a handbrake

I got the car on wheels at the weekend although the front coilovers are too weak for the jag engine () and the sump just drops to the ground.

Once that is sorted, i will been to fit a handbrake cable so i can stop it when we roll it out.

I have a Sierra handbrake and early jag xj40 brakes. What handbrake cable can i use?

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

you could put some solid bars in for now to hold the front up

This is the sierra brake end, A metal square at the end of the cable. You sort of fold it around the hook af the brake caliper.

The handbrake is like this.
