Weber Carb
Think I've been offered a bargain for some Weber Carbs Twin 40 DCOE's. Come with Balance Bar and Throttle Linkage. These are 2 fit my 2
Ltr Pinto. I know I need a manifold but how much and where from?? Filters, again how much and where from and what else would I need, if anything,
to make them work.

manifolds go for ebay for a little as £20, but normally a bit more.
Same can be said with filters, they pop up occasionally, but new ones can be bought from demon tweeks, burton power and a few other places. Those two
offer different types of filter, either cotton ones by K&N and foam one by pipercross.
One thing to make sure is that the carbs are jetted for your engine, as if not you will need to re-jet them, and may need to change a few of the
internals.

Thanks, not too much extra then. They are jetted for a 1700 Crossflow. Are we talking megabucks for the re-jetting??

Good indicator of the condition of DCOEs is if the cold start thingys work smoothly -- without sticking --- even though you may never use choke is
important they don't stick
