Anyone using NOS?

As above... instead of having the cost of a turbo and the fact you can have too much torque in a BEC i'm thinking of fitting a NOS system to my hayabusa engine.

Have it set to come in when in 4th gear say when i'm well under way. I know as long as I set it up properly it has no negative effects on the engine.

Any tips/thoughts/opinions?

thats why i think it'll suit what i'm after. A Hayabusa lump will be plenty for general road/track work for 95% of the time. For the 5% when I'm needing a little extra shove the NOS would fit the bill.

Hi there, I cannot say i am using a nitrous system on my haynes but i do now quite abit about them...

1 Thing first though Please refrain from using the term NOS.... NOS is a manufacturers name for nitrous oxide systems based in the USA and quite frankly they are Sh**e

Nitrous oxide when used corectly will not cause any harm to your engine obviously there are limits.. i notice you are in lincon, my best advice to you would be to give (Wizards of nos) based in newark a call i think there number is 0871 288 4977 and there web site is www.m99.co.uk

There are what you might call the loacl experts,

If you want any more info on nitrous oxide systems to put your mind at rest drop me a PM
