BMW K100 throttle bodies - suitable?
hey all,
Mate of mine has a K100 for a mini project and has the TB's spare, they have a 36 mm diameter and look easy to respace.
would they be suitable for a stock 1800 zetec? or would i find them too restrictive?

If you can mount them on a suitable manifold and jet correctly, can't see any ptoblems

they would do the job and do look easy to respace, also looking at pictures they dont have integral injectors which is not a problem on a zetec as you
can use a 1800/1600 standard injector sandwich plate, ive done a couple previously using gsxr throttle bodies some info here

Nice one
I am using Yamaha R6 throttle bodies on a similar set up on a 1.8 Zetec they run well.
Am now fitting them to a modified 2.0 Zetec but am not happy with the angle of throttle bodies on the manifold.
Do you...or anyone else for that matter, know where to get a blank plate for the manifold to sandwich plate from, so I can make a new one?

You could use an ST170 inlet manifold, got mine from ebay.
