Silvertop Zetec Cam Query ?daft query

Hi,
I bought a 2nd hand zetec silvertop head.

I cant get any joy after installing it - done the normal checks.
I put the cams on in the way I received them but they were not marked exhaust or intake.
Are the exhaust and intake cams interchangeable? If not what marking should there be?

Thanks
Frank

No they are not interchangable, the inlet cam is easily identified by the lug at the back which triggers the cam position sensor. Rescued attachment zetec-cam-18-105-115.jpg

One of my favourite rebuild moments, not. When you have spent a day trying to start a rebuilt zetec, you've checked everything, it's all OK, you just know it should run, it even sounds like it's trying to run but it just doesn't. Penny finally drops, you lift the cam cover and the cams are the wrong way round. An hour later it starts on the button. Laughed like a drain after I had bandaged up the slit wrists.
