Starter motor

Just goes click, I've told it to buck it's ideas up or else but to no avail. It did turn the engine once after I'd done a bit of counselling with a hammer but it's sulking again now, any ideas

Guys, could you just check my wiring, we've had no success with this today
I - Jumbo live feed direct from battery
II - switched live from ignition switch
III - earth
Can't get anything consistent to happen, probably doesn't help that we've schnozzled the battery b*ggering about all day Rescued attachment sm4.jpg

You have the connections wrong. No earth needed.

You should have 1 main wire from battery and 1 from ign switch. The Wire bolted to the same terminal as the braided wired should go in place of the earth.
