Facet fuel pumps

Yet more help required!

For various reasons I would like to use a Facet fuel pump with my Xflow engine.

This leaves me with a question:

Can I simply connect the fuel pump to the DGV32/36 carb, and rely on the float to resist the pump pressure, or do I have to provide a return pipe to the fuel tank?

cheers,

David

Connecting straight to carb (Weber 500) works for me

I've got a Facet 'Silver top' on my XR2000 connected straight to a pair of Weber 40's and it works fine for me! Got it from SCA Race and Rally in Norwich (where my parents live). Try www.sca-racerally.co.uk or something similar.

Thanks everyone.

The Facet pump I'm thinking about is the smallest 'solid-state' one, which will be more than adequate for my engine.

cheers,

David
