Weber 32 DFT carb.

Does anyone know what car was fitted with this carb?. My 1600 crossflow came with one fitted but no throttle linkage and i need to find something to suit. It is different to the carbs fitted to mk 2 escorts and i suspect it may be from a Mk1 xr2.
