Oil Pressure
Whats the best way to test for oil pressure before running the engine? I havent had it running much, and i dont want to run it with low oil pressure.
When i have test run it before, i have cranked it over with no spark or fuel for 20 secs or so, then started it is this ok?
How do you wire up the oil warning light? Does it come off the oil pressure sender somehow?

Pressure switch and pressure sender are two seperate entities. Usually people use a T-piece to have both. The switch is a basic on-off job below a
certain pressure it is on above off. You can source adjustable switches. If you've only got a sender plumbed in I would suggest running the
gauge to see what pressure your getting. Getting it cranking cold without coil lead, takes a while to build up and you need to fill filter with oil
etc.
