I've found a stripped Sierra 150 km from home for very little money.
Unfortunately it is a 1.8td and probably some parts will be unusable.

Gearbox: I think it's a Type 9, maybe a specific bellhousing, should bolt on a Zetec? What should I use as an input shaft? Gear ratios will cause the main problem.

Diff: probably a 3.62 as I read in a post about diffs, I will check.

Missing on the pics: steering column, handbrake, propshaft (can find at the breaker) and the loom. Is it a problem to build the loom from scrach? Or should I collect a loom on any car to get all the connectors, fuse box, relays and all these bits?

General condition: it's stored outside, all will have to be completely reconditionned.

In one world is it worth to go and collect these parts?

If he really only wants 25€ for all that lot then you don't want to be on here posting. You should be going to collect it.. You are bound to get your money's worth. Just make sure that is all he wants.

Had a phonecall.
He asks 150€ for the front and rear axle, box, driveshafts and steering column.
100€ without the gearbox.
