My Mac#1 gives me a 2011 smile again!
After a couple of weeks of winter tweeks and post winter maint I took her out for a spin... Massive Grins all round. Took a mate out too and scared
the poo out of him... HAHA...
Didn't even break the speed limit
The little tweeks I did...
Replaced in engine bay with Cold Air feed and inline filter (Pipercross)
Re-mapped PC with new map
Altered suspension to recommended values from Mark and Colin
Changed my old steering wheel
Changed Mirrors
Coolant flush and renew
Oil Change
Wiring tidy and Bolt check!
Biggest changes to effect were Suspension, Remap and Cold Air feed.
and just to prove it... Video to follow (as soon as it uploads)

I'm waiting until March until I get mine out again!
I very bothered by the state of the roads (see my thread from yesterday) which is tainting my excitement slightly.

after sitting here all winter depressed from being out of work and no money i took mine out last week on the one and only sunny day.
Made me feel life is worth it again after just 30 minutes. Was very cold tho and had to be carefull due to wheel spin in 1,2,3rd gears.
The best pick me up ive had.
Sorry about my spelling, im an engineer and only work in numbers.

I was originally planning to get my car back on the road at the beginning of this month. Then I got a new job which took me 'oop north'
for the first two weeks (just got back) so it looks like March might be a better bet. I really need to get my ITBs mapped in time for the MOT so
I''ll be phoning AT Speed soon to book some roller time.
Cheers,
Raz

Hi mr_pr :-)
Do you have any pictures of your new cold air feed? Mark's selling me an Airbox for my ZX10R engine and I wanted to see how others had done it?
Have you got an inline panel filter in the airbox now then, with a NACA duct?
Thanks!
Ben.

I got a pipercross inline filter on the end of the airbox with an inlet tube that runs over the top of the rad and to a ring vent on the grill. U2U me
your email and I will send photos.
I think it made a big difference to be honest....
