Ill scrub in your tyres for FREE,

I will even pay for the track day to do it, minimum three sets!!

I didnt realise you guys get pre scrubbed tyres. Thats serious!

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Just today I got a letter from Demon Tweeks to Locost/Stock hatch competitors offering a deal on tyres. 185/60R13 A539s are £40+vat, buffing a extra £10 per tyre, free delivery.

Having said that I got a set from Polleysport before Christmas for £210 buffed, and had I had the rims ready they would have fitted them for free.

Shaun.

Hi

For get the price. Polley are at virtually every meeting and support the drivers directly.
Demon tweeks sponsorship for the Locost championship is simply the so called deal on tyres.

Support the guys and gal who support us i say.

Cheers Matt

I agree with Matt that you should support directly the sponsors who support the championship you race in!

Hi

It's getting confused.com.
Demon tweeks do sponsor the championship, But provide nothing other than supplying tyres as a deal. Unfortunately most drivers buy their tyres from Polley cheaper anyhow and they support the whole 750Mc by being at the meetings sorting us all out. The sponsorship is effectively a nothing as far as the drivers go just Demon tweeks getting their name on the championship but with no support or anything.

Although i have nothing against Demon tweeks i do find this sponsorship rather annoying as it seems to be preventing us from gaining a sponsor who could actually bring some real benefits to the championship rather than just a so called deal that is not a deal and no one is using unless they live local to DT.

Cheers Matt

Great stuff

all for supporting those that support as it were .......you never know when you may need a favour and for me this is worth more than a few quid saving even if there was to be a saving elsewhere.
I will contact them in the morning.
Wonder if they have the magic gas that they have a Tweeks?

Cheers Guys

Talking of support.....may need a bit from a well respected forum member come race days...how are we fixed?

Hi

Don't worry about the magic gas. Unless your running slicks it does nothing as proved in back to back testing with our tyres in the championship.

Cheers Matt
