it just gets worse, radiator leak
i was just messing around, getting things running smoother, making sure i had no leaks etc ready for next weekend, when i looked into the nose and saw
a few drops of water, hmmm thats weird.
i reached in to the place where i believed it to be coming from and it was wet, sooooo i gave it a little wiggle, well, bubble bubble bubble spirt
spirt. oops. i think what ever seal was there is now not there so much, any ideas how to fix this, any compounds?
dont really fancy radweld, even if it worked i feel it sometimes causes more problems than it solves.
it looks prett bodged already, just want to get to stoneleigh without the need to get a new radiator (which im not going to manage now on a 3 day week
am i)
any way, hopefully these pics will work. and you'll see the connection
god im a pain.

if its copper and the tail sticking out is brass it can be soldered in, you will need to get it very clean and dry then solder as normal.
Or if its steel tap and die it and get a proper conectot to screw into it plumbers merchants should have something to fit that.
But as above it needs doing properly that looks like bodge central to me.

Five minute job to clean it up and solder it in with a blow lamp even if the tail is steel

well,i dug a litte deeper and
i think that was either a strengthener or a little extra seal, but if it was soldered in it wasnt done very well
