another diff question
i am currently running a 7" 3.62 open diff with lobro type shafts and have acquired a 3.14 7" diff (47cw 15p) code on diff casing is
83-BG-4025-BE, can anybody tell me what this is from as cant find any similar codes in the sticky for a sierra, also the 3.14 diff has no output
flanges with it, can i use the output flanges from the 3.62 ? or does this mean that this 3.14 diff has push in shafts only and would mean changing
shafts, hubs and brakes to drums ?

You can get a diff rebuilder to fit crown wheel and pinion to the 3.62
You can fit lobros to the 3.14, not easy and needs a little fetling to stop the lobro sined shaft jamming the planet gear shaft.
You can make hybrid push fit to lobro drive shafts using the thicker diesel push in shafts and lobro CV outers

spot on
1.8 td = 3.62
2.3 d = 3.92
