Zetec fuel system

Morning all,

I've got a 2.0l zetec with gsxr throttle bodies and megasquirt in the 7. I've found a split in the standard Ford fuel sender unit thats curretnly mounted in the top of the tank. So I've decided I'm going to remake the system.

I've already got a fuel pressure regulator fitted, so what are my options with fuel pumps and the like? It's fine to modify the tank by the way, ie. to put bottom outlets in.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hi Chris,

If your going to modify the tank, you need to fit a sump in the bottom
to eliminate fuel surge/starvation.this is exactly what i have done, the outlet on
the bottom, with the return on the top.
The pump can be bought from eblag for £50-£80,its just a universal external pump..
Obviously the pump needs to be mounted below(or as close to) the outlet,so the pump is gravity fed from the tank.

This pump on the bay will do you fine 380337670850

This is exactly the route i am taking with my install.

Andy
