Duratec 1.8 2.0 Differences
Hi Guys,
I went and picked up a duratec engine late last night, Sold to me as a 2.0. However when i got it back last night, it has a newish white sticker on
the front of the engine, with 1.8 written on it and a fair few codes.
Spoke to seller, he bought it from a scrapyard as a 2.0 etc..
Is there any way of telling the differences apart from taking of the head?
Kind Regards
Ed

Cast into the exhaust side of the block, at the back near the bellhousing flange/engine mount
