going rate for a 2.0 black top?

local scrappies want between £180 & £300 for a mk3 mondy 2.0 blacktop. seems a bit more than I bargained on, or am I thinking of silvertops.

best i can come up with is £169 86k , it does however come with a few bits i could sell.

My scrappy man pointed and said "everything under there for £200 mate". I would have took him at his word and cleared the lot out, including the box

There is a breaker on ebay that knocks them out for sub £100, I've posted them up a few t imes

A mk 3 mondeo should be a duratec and not a black top.

A lot will depend on condition and milage. Try to hear it running first before you buy. Dont forget it may be scrap for a good reason. I paid £200 for a good silvertop but they did remove it for me. Something to take into account.

well, rightly or wrongly, i've paid £169 for a 2.0l black top reported 86k, head gasket in good nick. reportedly running well before scrapping (ebayer has 100% feedback)

Well the guy I recomended only has a 1.8 this week but its still a MONDEO 1.8 ZETEC ENGINE MK2 | eBay

I've had both 1.8 and 2.0 Zetecs and the 1.8, although a bit down on power, was the nicer of the two in that it was a bit smoother and revvier.
