Gearbox

Hello,

it seems that i finally found a donor for my Tiger E1 build.
It's a 2.0 EFI OHC Sierra. (thanks to Werner Van Loock)

BUT, gearbox on the car is automatic.

Finding a Type 9 is not a problem, but what if i keep the automatic gearbox ?

Will it fit in the kit?
Do you know someone who did it ?
How does it drive ?

thanks for any advice,

Gerardo

There have been auto boxes fitted in kits I know of a couple of MK's that have had them fitted I believe yoy need a slightly wider tunnel. Not sure how they cope with additional power going through them. Personaly I would go with a manual boxwill be a lot more responsive and feel more like a sports car

i would NOT fit an auto box because you will have a lot of trouble trying to sell it (when you do) puls it wont be any fun to drive, auto's belong in big slow 4x4's
