radiator fans and stuff

looking to finally order my fan...

the radiator is a mk3 ford transit one, the core is 12" tall by 22" wide...

so, maximum single size radiator i can use is 12" really, can't use 2x12" fans though.

i think 1x12" fan will be enough though. i guess, if i needed to, i could add a smaller, say 9" fan to go along with it.

or 2x10" fans (which is like double the price of 1 12" fan...)

thoughts? or can anyone confirm 1x 12" fan will be ok.
whats everyone else using?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I think 1 fan would be more than enough....

The placement of the fan is more important.......

Ducting the air from Jose to rad.
Blanking the sides to stop air going round the rad makes a huge difference in cooling.

got a fan and it looks plenty powerful enough

you're right about ducting, i don't have a nose cone as such, so ducting will be something i'll have to really think about. will need some proper thought on how to do it, what to use to make it with etc. some sort of fibreglass contraption maybe
