Vauxhall redtop

Ok still reading the millions of threads relating to VX's

Just spotted one near which is cheap (therefore good)

Without spending too much dosh, and keeping thing as standard as possible, what bits do i need to go with it.

I've read threads saying the omega box will fit, but which one ?

Is it alloy? hydraulic ?

Are the easy to get up and running if kept standard, ant wiring problems or alike ?

Lastly , is this a good option to do. ?

Nearly forgot what they like for torque / power in standard form.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes.

By that time, who cares.

You're a mile away, and you've got his shoes

Would it not be cheaper and easier to fit a Manta or omega box ?

forgot to mention in my u2u, manta sump and gearbox can be used. 1.8 carlton/manta only as other engines have different stud pattern. the box is considered a bit on the week side i gather for the power, so don't know how long it'd last.

skippad, are you using a standard type 9 sierra box?

Ned.

beware, I've got yellow skin
